Growing and Walking

Hey y'all.

So I have to say that this week has been tough but I am slowly getting stronger and healing from the break up. Even though this week was tough I did not let it stop me from growing in my faith with God and spending some quality time with my dear friends and coworkers.

Study Date with Kaitlyn :)
Oh the joys of study dates at Flying Star with Kaitlyn. I don't know why but we always have some interesting stories to tell after we leave. A couple weeks ago we had one of the employees came and sat with us and started telling us about this girl that he was in love with and it was super awkward. Last week he told us that he was making her a ring and that he was so excited to see her. It was cute but we could never  figure out why he was telling us this. And, get this, he is now done working at Flying Star and is going to work on a FARM... of all things haha. Weird guy.

Later that night, some ladies came to sit at a table that was near us and they smelled like HOT DOGS. I kid you not! :p It was kind of gross.

Another study date is planned for tomorrow night and I am so excited for more of our crazy adventures.

Rock and Worship Roadshow :D
Last Thursday night was incredible. My friend, Bailey, and I went to the Rock and Worship Roadshow where we saw some incredible bands perform. Sidewalk Prophets, Disciple, Hawk Nelson, Lacrae, Tenth Avenue North, and MercyMe all performed and it was so amazing. Tingley Coliseum was packed full of people worshiping our Lord and Savior and it was so awesome to see everyone sing along, lift their hands to God, and get excited about the Good News!

Me and Bailey waiting for the show to start (yes, I did dye my hair back to brown)

Sidewalk Prophets kick off the show. Such a great performance and they did one of my favorite songs, "The Words I Would Say." :)

Hawk Nelson! :) They did a cover of "Don't Stop Believin," which I thought was very appropriate for this concert

And the greatest band of the night, MERCY ME! :) They were so incredible. Everyone should look up their song "Hurt and Healing Collide." It had such a great message and catchy tune too! :)

This week was great and I am looking forward to growing in my relationship with God and figuring out what He has planned for my life! :)
